- Abstract
- Anson Mark (1867-1931) was the brother of Clayton Mark. He worked for James H. Walker and Company, Chicago, in the dry goods business before joining his father and brother's partnership, the Mark Manufacturing Company in 1890. Anson Mark's home (architect Ernest Mayo) at 1010 Michigan Ave, Evanston IL is across the street from his father Cyrus Mark's home (1005 Michigan Ave). Both houses are in the Historic District of Evanston IL and are Evanston Landmarks.
