- Fleming's description typed and written on the reverse side of the image reads, in full: "Here we're on the outside looking in through the open jaws of the glider. Believe more unofficial pics were taken of that nurse that anything else. This speedy method of evacuating wounded reduces the time from Clearing Station back to Evac Hosp by precious hours, 15 min by air as compared to 4 hours by ambulance. It's a smoother ride, too. Near Unkel, Ger -- 22 March 1945."
