  • Iris, mad at Deke because he two-timed her, tells Calhoun that the bale of cotton is at the Apollo Theatre, where it is being used as part of the act of a striptease artist, Billie. Now everybody, the police, Calhoun, Deke, Iris, rush to the theatre. A near riot takes place when the truth becomes known--the money has disappeared. Calhoun is captured and Deke has a hard time explaining the situation to his angry followers. Meanwhile, in far off Africa, somebody is enjoying an ill-gotten fortune.
