  • Fleming's description typed on reverse side of image reads, in full: "A closer view of a smoke generator showing its small size and portability, its smoke jets, and the hose feed - it oil from a drum. This contrivance burns a special oil at 900° F, really a whizz for heating water for a cup of coffee, they say. It generates for about an hour's time on a 50 gal drum of oil.
