- Fleming's description typed and written on the reverse side of the image reads, in full: "Tail up and rope taut the glider rapidly gains speed. Since it first hooked on, the C-47 has been rapidly running out more rope from a special reel device. Now a breaking action is being applied to the reel so that the rope is tight and the glider in motion. Soon the reel will stop unwinding altogether and the glider will be speeding along at the same speed as the plane. Near Unkel, Ger -- 22 March 45."
