- Abstract
- Many citizens of Ogden Dunes fought to preserve the dunes ecosystem along the coast of Lake Michigan in Northwest Indiana. Their efforts resulted in the creation of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in 1966 and the Indiana Dunes National Park in 2019.
