The Medieval Manuscript Leaves collection at Northern Illinois University Libraries Special Collections and Archives (SCA) Department consists of ten manuscript items created in France, Germany, and Italy between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries. These include illuminated pages, portions of bibles, prayerbooks, and breviaries, and a papal bull issued by Clement VIII. Housed in the SCA's Rare Books and Special Collections unit, the manuscripts were acquired by NIU Libraries in 2003 and are regularly used for research and instruction.
