The Policy Committee of the College and Arts and Sciences was established in 1942 to undertake the investigation of particular issues affecting faculty and students within the College. This group was meant to be a policy-forming, advisory body that determined “both the policies of the College in its relationship with other departments of the University and the general policy of the College itself.” The Collection consists of minutes and general documents for this committee, spanning the period from its inception in 1942 to 1998.
