Abstract
  • For ledger entries 9, 10, 11, and [12] (page 85) Montgomery seems to change the location of grave markers on this page from "Big Cedar - Franklin" to "Big Bass - Franklin". However, there does not seem to be a Big Bass Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana. There is a "Bass Cemetery" in Mitchell, Indiana, but that doesn't seem to be where Montgomery was when documenting these four entries. Also, entry number 10 for Jedediah Ogden is confirmed to be in the Bath Springs Cemetery in Union County, Liberty, Indiana (on South Bath Springs Road approx. 1/4 mile south of Old State Road 101 on the west side of the road).
