- Description
- A sixteenth-century Spanish Gradual containing music for Sunday masses from the first Sunday of Advent to Easter Sunday. The final quire of the gradual appears to be a later addition. Pastedowns (front and back) are trimmed bifolia of a notated breviary, also dating to the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century and likely produced in Spain. The front and rear pastedowns both contain hymns and readings for the Office of the Dead (Lauds).
