  • Leaf from a fifteenth-century German missal used as a cover for late-sixteenth century sammelband. The text comprises a section of the Acts of the Apostles (10:42-43) and the gospel of Luke (24: 13-24).

Provenance
  • This fragment is bound in a sammelband of Prague imprints published in 1570. The first item in the sammeland is Dominá?ek z Písnice, Zikmund. Oratio de rebus adversis. Prague: Ioannis Cantoris, 1570. A mark of early ownership can be found on the inner fold of the back cover. Dated 1573 and signed by a Wiezlaus Berka Mladssej Zdieler[?]. Stamp on title page “Ex. Bibl. Praef. Spir. S. Xav. Coll.” and blind stamp imprints on the title page indicate that the volume was owned by Xavier University prior to 1930.
